Judging by our local elections last year and this year people are really looking for change away from politics as usual. The Good Ole Boy network took a thumping both on city and county levels.

I think it will carry over into the Mid Terms as well.

Predictions on the net (for what that’s worth) are for a 6 seat swing to Republican in the Senate which would look like this:

Democrats: 51

Republicans: 46

Independents: 3

Are we hoping for more independents?


The House of Representatives would see a 30 - 40 seat swing to Republican which would look like this:

Democrats: 226 - 216

Republicans: 209 - 219 … hmmm … this could be interesting …

Hope I got my numbers right … not that they mean anything. A lot can happen in 3 months …
